Emilie Appercé (b.1990 Paris, France) is a Paris – Zürich based architect, editor and designer, founding member of Zurich International, educated both at the EAVT Paris-Est, and Accademia di Architettura, Mendrisio where she graduated in 2014. Since 2012 she has worked for Miller & Maranta in Basel, Francesca Torzo in Genova and Caruso St John in Zürich. She joined the Chair of Prof. Adam Caruso at the Department of Architecture, ETH Zürich in 2019 as a studio/diploma teaching assistant. Together with Helen Thomas, she is an editor of womenwritingarchitecture.org, an international online annotated bibliography that addresses issues of gender parity in architectural education and cultural production. WWA.org is part of Tisch Zwei Verein, founded in 2023 together with Helen Thomas, which includes among other activities, the publishing house wwa publishing and the podcasts ‘A Book I Love’, ‘The Author Speaks’. Since 2020, she works independently and collaboratively in different fields of creations such as architecture, urbanism, design, publication, exhbition, writing, art production. She designed POLPO, a recycled moulded plastic stool together with Dominic Kim and Leo Bettini.
